When social media websites were created, I'm pretty sure they weren't targeted to certain individuals.  All social medias were made for everyone to enjoy and use at their own risk.  Though there isn't a target audience for twitter or Facebook, their has been studies that show that younger people are more attracted to twitter and older folk lean more towards Facebook.

People 35 and under use twitter.
Two-thirds of the people above 35 use linkedin.
People after the age 44 use Facebook.

It's funny how people start to gravitate to certain social medias once they have reached a certain age.  Do you think this study has any truth to it? Leave us a comment!
